Domestic violence comes into picture when an family member, ex-partner or current parent tries to harm or dominate others in the family. Increased cases of domestic violence are responsible for high economic costs as people remain absent from work or replacement cost increases. Children and women are most vulnerable section under this issue and high risks are associated with their health and mental well-being. This domestic violence is also major cause of sexual assaults, killings between partners, homicides, separation, and other similar problems. Rural, regional and indigenous communities also faces domestic violence where it gets difficult to reach for help.
	What political action is being taken?
