Steps of Decision-Making in Healthcare
There are many steps, which are associated with decision making within health care. The health care provided is free for all patients as it is non - profit organization. The first step is that the staff who are working in the health care are hired according to the need of health care patients. As noted by Mays and Hogg (2015), if patients are high in number then more staffs are hired and if there are less patients, less number of staffs are needed to work. As the health care service is a nonprofit organization, thus it has to face financial problem sometimes if the donations and contributions it gets become less. Thus, it is the need that proper budget is done before initiating any task in the organization.
The budget is considered before taking any steps. As we discussed that it is non – profit health care agency and provide care to the patients cost free thus it has to collect money from various sources such as government, donations, foundations and many other units. It makes the organization to consider budget so that it can provide efficient care to its customers. As indicated by Jang et al. (2017), non-profit organizations has to deal with many financial problem of the source of getting money gets less.
Types of Conflict in Home Health Company
Conflicts often happen in any organization and it should be resolved as soon as possible to avoid further disputes. As suggested by Artiga and Hinton (2018), there are many conflicts that arise in home health care agency among the staffs, which are described as below:
Less facility to staff
The staff gets less facility at the time of work in terms of amount of work, pay and environment. If there is less budget then focus will remain to provide care to the patients.
