a) The Financial Products which can be used by the Financial Institutions in order to help the small Businesses and Primary producers in the flood-affected areas of Queensland are as follows:
1. Overdraft
2. Term loan
Overdraft: Overdraft is a financial facility offered by Bank which allows the account holders to withdraw funds from the account even if there is no balance in your account. Banks usually charge an interest on the amount which is drawn.
Term Loan: Term loan is a facility which provides the bo

Financial Institutes can extend these facilities to the Businesses and producers at a concessionary rate. The term loan will allow the Businesses to jump start the business and help them in repairing their Buildings, Plant and Machineries, pay for expenses etc. Similarly for producers it will help them to buy the seeds, fertilizers etc. The overdraft facility would help them to run the day-to-day operations. With the overdraft facility, the businesses will be able to take care of their daily expenses.
Financial Institutions can provide these financial products to the Businesses and Primary producers such as lower interest rate, longer tenure of the facility, moratorium on the repayments, lessor security cover for the term loan and overdraft.
