We live in one of the most interconnected, dynamic time where world has become web, and there is constant interactions amongst us. There is tremendous shift in workplace, operations and how business focuses on which project to focus and which to let go. Proper management of project is paramount in today’s business world. This course has developed a keen interest in me towards the domain of project management. Focusing on how to control different kinds of cost that are playing in the project at the backend.
I was working on the project, which explained how social media is transforming the expectations of students inside and outside the classroom. In this dynamic world, social media has become one of the most powerful medium to communicate, share information, conduct business and various transactions. Social media has become ubiquitous in the personal lives of teachers and students alike. It plays an indispensable role in mediating learning behavior of students and has an impelling impact on sustainable education. The world has become a technology-driven global village and has become much smaller using social media. By the virtue of this project, we were able to explore the impact of social media on student’s expectations in and out of their classrooms. In order to provide evidence and concrete facts we refe
ed published literature journals, information on social media and its influence on the student's learning was extensively studied. Finally, a research question were framed based on the identified problem that might pave the pathway to future research.
Indeed, teamwork is crucial element that decides whether the project would be successful or result in utter failure. It is the act of getting different individuals together to work towards common goal such that resources are used effectively and objective of project is achieved. It establishes human synergy and amplifies the outcome of each member that gives result, which is much more than contribution by individuals in the team. Cooperation and collaboration enhances productivity and act as a catalyst in a team.
By the virtue of this project, I got the opportunity to work in a team that helped gain different prospective and learn from my team members. We were group of three, me along with Sonam Tamang and Rajat Pandey have worked on the project and in the process learnt tremendous amount of knowledge while interacting and collaborating with them. We were working on researching how social media is transforming expectations of the student inside and outside of the classroom.
I was responsible in managing the team such that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently as well as we are able to deliver the project as planned at given deadline.
