authority legislative requirements.
The skills in this unit must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Te

Australian New Zealand standards and industry codes of practice.

Experience (PPE)
It is expected that the student will complete a minimum work
placement of 400 hours on completion of all theoretical learning
in a SCEI approved Health Service Organisation.
Please note: The Student must demonstrate a satisfactory result in all assessment activities (both in a simulated
and a SCEI approved Services Organisation) in order to be assessed competent in all units. Final assessment
esults are to be recorded on the Assessment Summary Report found in Assessment Tools.
Students may need to spend some hours outside the class hours without supervision to complete the
assessments.
