Ontario is one of the most diverse areas of Canada. It has a large amount of immigrants. Most of the common health issues in Ontario are cancer, cardiovascular disease, child obesity, and diabetes. The immigrants may acquire a new health issue or already suffering from one, and anyhow seek urgent medical assistance in the city. Although Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) insures a wide range of physical and mental disorders for the citizens, a waiting time of 3 months may affect the immigrants those who are in need of an urgent treatment. For the immigrants, the waiting period may affect and worsen the physical condition if it is not treated on timely basis. The private insurance may put a financial burden on them and discourage them for a medical treatment. Thus, it is very important to consider an efficient healthcare service for the people those are new for this place.
