member of societies look upon people with abnormalities. Throughout the centuries different 
theories have emerged trying to explain the real reasons behind abnormal behavior and among 
such theories are the biological theories, the psychological theories, the socio-cultural theories, 
the bio-psychological theories, etc. All these theories have tried to explore the reasons leading to 
abnormal behaviors and all of them have been able, to some extent, to make people understand 
why while some people in the society behaves normally, some others, within the same society, 
behaves in an abnormal or unconventional manner.
