Introduction
    This assignment is based on the qualitative research method. The selection of this method is dependent on the case study of the Kate, who is single mother of 18 months old daughter suffered from anxiety. Many factors contributed towards her anxiety as she scared for being neglected by her peer due to different priorities. Her health condition suggest she suffered type 1 diabetes while her daughter suffered from asthma.
The qualitative research approach is selected for this study based because scenario of Kate is very specific. Study needs be focused on single mother suffering from anxiety. Thus, qualitative approach can help in understanding the perspective of single mothers. As mentioned by van Rijnsoever (2017), qualitative research approach helps in getting the deep-rooted information related to the subject and phenomenon. This allows the researchers to come across information which was hidden in the process. This essay develops the research questions related to the research topic, design the method and methodology, and research paradigm.
Research Aim

Research Question
· Does all single mother suffer from the anxiety at some point of their life?
· Why do single mothers suffer from mental disorders?
· What are the factors contributed towards development of anxiety in single mother?
· Does use of yoga or meditation help in improving the situation?
It must be noted that research questions play crucial role in guiding the research. As mentioned by White (2017), research question is developed strategically to define the direction of the research and meet the aim of the research. As per the case study, these research questions focused on identifying the relationship between anxiety and single motherhood. It also tries to analyze the role to meditation or yoga in improving the situation.
Paradigm
As per the case study, the interpretive paradigm is selected. The interpretive paradigm for this research study. As suggested by Darman, Ubud, Siti, and Khusniyah (2017), interpretive paradigm can be defined as the research philosophy in which focus is made on the meaning constructed among the participants who can communicate. Interpretive research design is used to develop the research methodology which can be aligned with the naturalistic and constructive orientation to inquiry. This philosophy helps to generate necessary information related to the clinical context of applied health disciplines. The views of interpretive shows their origin in different discipline. This paradigm developed as a critique to the positivism paradigm and established the assumption that social reality is neither objective nor singular. This resulted in development of the social context and human experiences. This paradigm helps in studying the socio-historic context of the subject and gives the subjective interpretation of the participants.
As mentioned by Putnam, and Banghart (2017), interpretive paradigm helps in understanding the view of social reality context present within abstract of the social setting. This paradigm focusses on the reality of the subject and analyses the occu
