The Importance of Ensuring Spiritual Health: The Context of Health Care 
With the passage of time, the nature of diseases is changing. Quite interestingly, 
today, the human society is plagued by more non-communicable diseases that are the 
outcomes of sedentary lifestyles. The medical world is faced with challenges posed by 
lifestyle-related ailments that are gradually becoming widespread. Considering the aforesaid 
issue, and emphasizing the importance of addressing and mitigating the issue, the primary 
purpose of the research study would be to highlight the significance of enhancing spiritual 
health in the context of combating lifestyle-related diseases.  
The research would involve the qualitative framework as the design and approach. In 
the intended research study the independent variable would be degree of spirituality, and the 
dependable variable would be the degree of alleviation of lifestyle-related diseases in 
different individuals. The primary purpose of the research would be to determine the 
relationship between spiritual health and physical and mental health, and to ascertain how 
spiritual health impacts on both the physical and mental health of an individual suffering
