Please submit ONE (1) single file that includes all the photos and your reflection - preferably

Videos are not recommended for this task. However, if you wish to include small snippets of you
nature visit - you must include the videos as a Youtube Link. The assessment instructions
specifically asks for a written reflection and photos only.

In your first week of ECE6010 you will need to:
- attend a support session with your lecturer - see the course schedule for times
-go through the Collaborate content for week 1
- read the readings
- watch the videos and do the exercises
- think about what you are learning
- be in touch with your class and lecturer, attending drop ins, conversing in the
Discussion Board etc
For your first assessment task, due on Saturday evening, you will have to plan to visit
a natural place, so make time in your diary for this.

    For this reflective activity, I went to a forest. The natural beauty of the forest and the cultural legacy of the Aboriginal people, drew my attention immediately. The rich biodiversity of the forest and its ecology including the water, the sky, the animals, the birds, and the flora of the place forced to immerse physically and emotionally into the beauty of the mother nature. I immediately though of the physical and emotional connection the Aboriginal people had with this land in the pre-colonisation era. As mentioned in the work of Fa et al. (2020), elements of the forest such as the birds, the animals, the sky, and the soil have a deep connection with the natives. The trees, which were still standing tall for years seem to whisper the stories of the Aboriginal people pre-colonisation. Learning further, the forest served as a place of shelter, and has a spiritual significance for the Aboriginals, which they have been cherishing for years.
