Study, study, study! Log into VUC and explore the study material for Week 1. Once you have gone
through Sessions 1-2-3, you will be able to access the Dropbox. The Dropbox to submit
Assessment Task 1 will not open unless you have completed the activities.

Feel free to use whatever platform/program you are most comfortable with complete Assessment
Task 1: this can be PowerPoint or Word or Canva etc. As long as all you address all the
equirements, the format does not matter.
Please submit ONE (1) single file that includes all the photos and your reflection - preferably
as PDF.
Videos are not recommended for this task. However, if you wish to include small snippets of you
nature visit - you must include the videos as a Youtube Link. The assessment instructions
specifically asks for a written reflection and photos only.

In your first week of ECE6010 you will need to:
- attend a support session with your lecturer - see the course schedule for times
-go through the Collaborate content for week 1
- read the readings
- watch the videos and do the exercises
- think about what you are learning
- be in touch with your class and lecturer, attending drop ins, conversing in the
Discussion Board etc
For your first assessment task, due on Saturday evening, you will have to plan to visit
a natural place, so make time in your diary for this.
(ASSESSMENT CRITERIA
The following criteria will be used to grade this assessment task:
+ Criterion 1: Acknowledgement of Country and Documentation of Visit (25%)
« Criterion 2: Storytelling of Experience (25%)
« Criterion 3: Use of Theory, Unit Concepts & Referencing (50%)
