This assignment is research-based.Case Study 1:Norton computer Ltd has office in Tauranga which is having LAN configuration. Cuently, there are 50 employees working in the company. The company is going to open another anch in Hamilton and want to connect the new office with the old one in Taranga. Business of Hamilton office is also selling the computers. Hamilton anch office requirements are in house application server maintaining sales and purchase, stock inventory, employee’s attendance & payroll systems. A separate web server is also required for hosting anch web pages and  online sales and purchase. Branch office will have three departments namely administration, marketing, sales & purchase departments. They will share server applications but all of them will have their own resources such as printers, computers, WIFI laptops etc. On WAN side, anch office must be connected to the head office for internet access, checking available stocks and so on. Firewall systems be employed at both offices to protect the company data from internet intruders.The Information Services Department director asks you to develop a report and address the following issues:1. Design internal LAN network diagram for the Hamilton office by considering the above mentioned parameters.2. Design a WAN network diagram by connecting the two offices. Network designing for the company
· The branch office building at Hamilton has 3 floors, and a basement floor, where each floor is oriented toward administration, marketing, sales & purchase departments and the basement floor has all the webservers where the network administrators are in quick contact with the administration floor
· The topmost floor that is the third floor is the administration floor which will have 20 machines each for the company’s administration and hosting a webpage for the company to sell its online products. People there will be involved in maintaining and upgrading the webpage, keeping tracks of sales and purchases, and a quick relay team to the other divisions. Supplementing to the wired network, it will have the end points for giving wifi connection to about 50 wireless devices all the time. 
· The second floor will have to provide wired communication for 10 machines as basic work place, where the marketing team develops the strategy to increase the revenue of the company, coming up with unique methods to increase sales while keeping track of growing competition, eliminating adversaries.
· Also in conjunction to that the executives and the management team of 8 employees work there, and their offices will needs highly Secure Wireless Access. So, building requires a secure wireless connection and the internet connection should be optimum with enough bandwidth for seamless conference calls and quick message transmission to the main branch at Tauranga.
· The basement floor will have all the servers needed for the operation with web server for web pages to web servers for private network, for implementing VPN the internet and main office, the maintained by one network administrator named Judy with knowledge in cloud computing architecture. The primary focus is on protection from attackers, ease of communication and servers and maintenance of the servers also another person will help her with her needs.
· The first-floor area 01: will house all the sales and purchase department oriented employees, who focus on contacting the potential clients and using the webpage for procedure, for example they get an order from the administration to deliver a product, they ship it and track the proceedings in the website, that the administration floor surveys, they have low level of clearance compared to other floor employees
