There are two types of accreditation system which are:
· Hospital and healthcare accreditation which is in national border
· International healthcare accreditation
Accreditation in the healthcare system always stimulates the continuous process of improvement. Accreditation makes sure the commitment to the quality in the healthcare is met. Further it increases the community faith and confidence over the hospital or nursing home as they will be assured the appropriate quality benchmark is followed in providing healthcare services. In today’s healthcare system it has become mandatory to get accreditation certificate from the respective agencies to continue with the healthcare services. This accreditation will benefit the hospital be evaluating their standard of healthcare services they are providing and further it will help them to understand the areas where they lag and the areas of improvements (Araujo et al., 2020).
