Intro Academic Writing ENG101 SEC 10Fall 2022
Topic: Anything related to your school life. Fo
example, you could write about the importance of a
public transport system in Kearney for college
students to get around. Does the town need one?
Are students fine without one? It's up to you to
decide, just make sure you pick a concrete stance
on the matter and defend it.
Note: If you plan on writing about the
example topic | provided you need to let me
know first.
Guidelines:
e Length- Finished paper should be between 3-
5 full pages, excluding the citations page.
The Rough draft should be 1 page and the
eginning of your citations page. All
argumentative papers are required to have a
citations page.
e Formatting- Use EasyWriterto format you
paper according to the style most frequently
used in your field. Make a note at the top of
your citations page letting me know what
style you are using. If you are undecided then
please use MLA format.
