Choose one of the example primary health promotion pamphlets (from the assignment 1 module page) and use this piece of evidence as the focus point of your essay. Students can, after consultation with Conveno
s, utilise a pamphlet they have sourced themselves.
Please address the following points:
· Describe the target audience this piece of evidence is aimed at educating, for example health professionals, adult or child consumers, carers, etcetera.
· Outline the purpose of the pamphlet. Outlining- the specific initiative it is focused towards, and the reason for the emphasis on this initiative.
· Describe the population group focused upon (e.g. people with a specific illness such as cancer, all Australians, children, specific population groups) and the prevalence of that population group in the Australian community.
· Analyse the evidence and outline how it supports one or more of the three major primary healthcare strategies of health promotion, illness prevention and/or early intervention?
· Consider how this knowledge could be utilised by nurses as part of a primary approach in a clinical context. Describe how it may align to aspects of the nurses' role in health promotion within the NMBA RN Standards for Practice (2016) and Code of Conduct for Nurses (2018).
Support your essay with appropriate and high quality evidence, i.e. is it cu
ent, relevant, by an authority, accurate, purposeful? (https:
li
ary.csuchico.edu/sites/default/files/craap-test.pdf (Links to an external site.) (Links to an external site.)). Utilise APA (7th edition) guidelines for your essay structure and referencing formatting. For support on APA 7th please utilise the electronic li

Formatting information:
The commonly suggested formatting is 1.5 line spacing, size 12 font, Times New Roman or Arial style font. No need to move margins on a Word document.
It will need a cover page with details of: Your student ID, number of the unit (10205), the assessment name, name of your chosen pamphlet, a link to the pamphlet, and the actual word count of your submission (not the expected word count but your actual word count).
Each page should have page numbers and your student ID in the footer. The reference list should be on a new page at the end of the document (and it does not count in word count) and be formatted as per APA 7th Edition style guide which you can find on the li
ary website. (Citations within the text are included in the word count).
