	Diabetes is a crucial health issue worldwide which has been specified as one of the biggest epidemics in the history. The continuously rising number of individuals diagnosed with diabetes implies that more assets are needed in order to manage the health issue as well as its complications. The total annual cost for adults in Australia suffering from diabetes was approximately a$14.6 billion in the year 2010 (Davis et al. 2018).  Hence, an accurate evaluation of the disease is very crucial for the planning, management as well as prioritising the health care services for the health issue. Since there are notable differences in the geographical sections in the prevalence of diabetes, epidemiological studies are highly required at the independent country level (Farsani et al. 2013)
Prevalence of Diabetes in Australia
