Selected topic: Agile system development approach is considered as the most effective and suitable approach in the development of the new Park Management System for Virtual Child International.
Virtual Child International has developed a virtual world for the children to assist them in after school hours. They offer various virtual park services, study and homework help services, and to undertake various courses offered by various schools and universities. Guardians make registration with the VCI platform and needs to make payment for the registration. Then the children are allowed to avail park services. Park rangers are there to assist the children in availing the services. The company has undertaken a project to renovate the existing information system being used for the VCI. The system requirements are mainly to enhance the communication between the children and the rangers, accelerating the payment process by adding more online payment options, allowing guardians to access more details about the services consumed by their children and to develop better user interfaces to assist the guardians, children, park rangers and other key stakeholders.

It starts will the core functionalities of a system and developing the partial solution based on the core requirements. Once the partial solution is developed, it is demonstrated to the end users and other key stakeholders for further review and for collecting information about the other requirements. Based on the outcomes of the review and the feedback sessions, more detailed requirements for the next iteration are formulated. Based on the refined set of requirements, the partial...
