Several pilot studies were carried out to determine the behavior of military veterans and whether or not, they deserve a chance to be treated differently or not.  Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) has been prevalent amongst many military veterans and due to stigma associated with it; many people with PTSD avoid getting themselves treated for mental health, which results in a number of negative health outcomes (Fossey et al.). 
Military jobs are very tough in nature where a person is constantly exposed to deaths, injury, threats, assaults and traumatic events. PTSD symptoms cause a person to relive their experiences causing nightmares,
