Barriers in Nursing Practice to adopt EBP:
Evidence based practices(EBP) are generally prevalent in medical and healthcare domain so as to enhance the quality of patient care outcomes and better customer service. But we all are resistant to change and want to continue with the processes and practices which we have learned and practiced over the years. Similarly, the nurses also resistant to change due to lack of knowledge, time constraints to study the literature and also due to stubborn attitudes. The organisational culture also plays a part in accepting the EBP and work on their implementation.
