Using the information from table 17-5 “Cost Data for Linen/Linen Department” explain how price variance, efficiency variance, and volume variance play a role in operational planning. Using the data from 17-5 develop an operational plan to address the results and project, in numeric and budgeting terms, what you expect the results to be from your operational plan.
Your initial posting should be at least 200 words in length. Read and reply to two classmates’ initial posting as if you were the Director of the Linen and Laundry department whose job performance is at stake with making improvements to the department. The goal is to add additional strategies that will assure the success of the operational plan.
