The statement of the problem is identifying and analysing factors influencing and shaping on-line shopping behaviour of consumers.
The hypothesis
The formulated hypothesis in accordance with the statement of problem is provided below:
Hypothesis 1: There is significant impact of demographic and psychological factors in terms of age, gender, education, income, marital status, etc on online shopping behaviour of consumers.
Hypothesis 2: There is no impact of impact of demographic and psychological factors in terms of age, gender, education, income, marital status, etc on online shopping behaviour of consumers.
A definition of key terms
The key terms are online shopping experience, demographic factor and consumer buying behaviour. Online shopping is a popular term based on internet methodology which provides consumer with detailed information and multiple product choices allowing them to easily compare products and price online for finding desirable product and service easily. Demographic factor is a wider term and outlines several online shopping parameters like age, gender, marital status, family size and income. These factors provide reflection regarding the fact how online shopping behaviour is developed among consumers. And, consumer buying behaviour is concerned with studying group of individuals or groups for analysing process they use for selecting, securing and disposing of products, services and ideas (Boone & Kurtz, 2012).
