The following essay aims to discuss in detail about the advantages and 
disadvantages of the Electronic Medical Record for patients and providers. Electronic

Records or EMR too has gained lot of popularity in healthcare organizations throughout

accessible for both patients and doctors. Any updates done in this web based system 
can be accessed from anywhere in the world by any doctor or patient. But like any other 
technological advancement Electronic Medical Records too have some advantages and
