Abstract
In policy making external environment plays a significant role. These environmental
factors can influence the policy decisions directly or indirectly. Though it might seem that all the
policies of a health care system are made keeping in mind the benefits for the patients and health
care practitioners, but in reality there are many other stake holders and factors in the external
environment of the organization that can be a beneficiary. The impact of some of the external
environment factors are explained in this assignment.
Stakeholders
Stakeholders are one of the most prominent external environment factors that influence

areas of healthcare, their importance increases. They have huge power to make or
