Define a data collection plan for the following clinical question:

Will implementation of a preeclampsia risk factor screening tool for women at 20-36 weeks gestation identify high risk patients and prompt home blood pressure monitoring and disease education by the provider?

The student collected data over a 4-week period after a risk assessment tool was instituted at a busy OB-GYN practice. The student anticipated about 100 women eligible for the project at 20-36 weeks gestation.

Data were manually extracted from the outpatient medical record and recorded in an excel workbook with two tabs.

Demographics included maternal age, race/ethnicity, and gestational age

Outcome variables included whether or not a risk assessment was performed, and the risk assessment level (low, medium, or high). For high-risk patients, identify the extent to which high risk patients compiled with the patient education plan.

Remember that your submission has two parts: the excel file and the SPSS.sav (data) file.
