We can evaluate individuals' direct from an external perspective, as judges do, or from within, which is essential in the ethical examination. The interior, deliberate decision we make is critical in moral examination. Albeit this decision may be seen as unbiasedly
illiant or awful, just we can survey our degree of control, information on the circumstance, and extreme inspiration. Three components should be inspected to decide whether a specific way of behaving is moral or dishonest; a) the demonstration's ethical worth, b) the goal's ethical worth, and c) the ethical worth of the circumstance. The real-life story that has become a part of my being is when I used to work in an emergency facility hospital. It was a female patient that just survived a car crash with a lamp post and she had severe internal haemo
hage. She was rushed to the operation theatre because mental and glass shards had penetrated the rear side of her head and was causing internal bleeding along with sense loss. The equipment used for the surgery was very accurate but to some extent only. After the operation was over and she was shifted to the ICU, she suddenly had a seizer and she was rushed into the diagnosis room because she was going into coma. After an MRI scan it was detected that a minute piece of metal probably iron, had penetrated deeper and was still in there since it went undetected by the extraction machine used during the operation. Her life depended on the machine to minutely detect all the shards so the doctor could get all of it out and help to save her life. But the machine failed to live up to the expectation of the doctors. The doctors decided on using that piece of equipment because till date it has been accurate even when the doctors were not. But this mistake was unprecedented.
1.2 Through the lens of the Types of Good
Being in compliance with a standard is the simplest definition of good. By defining good as anything that is morally righteous or beneficial to someone or something, the Oxford dictionary incorporates the element of morality. Morality is a method of living, acting, and making decisions based on what is deemed to be right or proper conduct. Its definition as an adjective read as anything that is to be desired, approved of, or has the traits necessary for a certain function. The five forms of good will help me understand my perplexity over whether the physicians' decision to use AI to find the shards was motivated by good thought or not, given that good should be held to a specific set of criteria.
