Critical Analysis: Soda Springs, Idaho
Key Issues
Soda Springs is considered a healthy place to live in. The fact that the health care environment is regarded as peaceful, supports this. Issues of insecurity are limited. In addition, Soda Springs is located in an environment with clean air. The services provided at Soda Springs are of a high quality because of the experienced medical staff employed. Moreover, the hospital has enough space to accommodate a large number of patients. For instance, it is a fact that Soda Springs has recorded 140 emergency room patient visits. The hospital being under construction means that there will be an opportunity of serving more patients because of an increased capacity. Patients also have the opportunity of enjoying outdoor activities that Soda Spring has availed. Members available in the su
ounding of Soda Springs consider the area an appropriate place to live in, since there is no traffic, smog, and they can easily access medical services at the same time (Rural Health Solutions, 2010, p. 3).
In the contrary, there are factors that make Soda Springs an unhealthy place to live in for instance, the fact that there is poor ground water in the su

In addition, cases of underinsurance have made it hard for most people (especially the economically disadvantaged residents) to assess medical services. Moreover, mining is a common activity, which takes place in the su
ounding of Soda Springs. This is associated with some health effects as well as adverse environmental degradation issues (“Critical Care Choices 2004 Regional Employment Directory,” 2004).
