Abstract
Palestine a country which have huge potential to grow but due to its differences with Israel it has lacked in several phases of development and the worst hit is health care system. Children being the soft target who do not have weapons to take a stand for themselves and dependent on others for their survival. Besides them women, elderly people, and other patients are there who need due care in time so that their life can be saved. There are several challenges which needs attention and require end of war so that financial resources can be utilized effectively.
Introduction
The country on which the report is being prepared is Palestine. The word ‘Palestine’ has been derived from the Greek word Philistia, was given by writers who used to live between modern Tel Aviv–Yafo and Gaza. The country is known as the Holy Land and is held sacred among Jews, Christians, and Muslims and for their conflicts with Israel Palestine. The area of the eastern Medite
anean region, comprising parts of modern Israel and the Palestinian te
itories of the Gaza Strip (along the coast of the Medite
anean Sea) and the West Bank (west of the Jordan River). The other countries within the east medita
ean region are Afghanistan, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Iraq. Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.
Demographic makeup of the country
The majority of the population is Sunni Muslim in the region while minority holds for Jewish, Christians, Arab and others. The Palestinian community is considered as youthful as 38% of population is under 15 years of age. The average number of children who had previously given birth to women who had been ma
ied for the year according to the General Population Census 2017 (fertility rate) in Palestine was 4.4 births/woman, while this average in the West Bank was 4.3 births/woman, compared to 4.5 births/woman in Gaza Strip. As mentioned by Marie, Hannigan and Jones (2017) though majority of children are enrolled for basic edcuation but little is wirtten about the challneges they face due to destruction of schools and violent attacks in war. Around 77% popylation lves in u
an Palestine with 15% reside in countryside. Most of the refugees are political in nature in the country and their orgination is from the states which came under control of Israel (AlKhaldi et.al, 2018).
Vulnerable populations of the country and the social justice system ways of eliminating the health disparities of the country
Population group has the best health indicators
Though it is difficult to identify the population which has best health indicators because the region is suffering frmm conflict since many years. Violence is the main ingredient which has every nook and corner of the economy to its worst. Be it education, safety of citizens, health care facilities or living a peaceful life, all the aspects of human life are distu
ed due to war. UNICEF and WHO along with other global partners are actively contributing so that the situation there can be stabilized (Fadlallah, 2019). Despite their efforts the conditions are on worst side. Participation of youth and education is the only weapon left to improve the condition but continuing in war zones like West Ban, Gaza strip is still a challneging task.
Population group has the worst health indicators
The population of children is most affceted in Palestine. Due to highly affected mo
idity violence towards children has been increased which has resulted to mental disorders, poor nutrition and vistimised adolscents experience which is hindrance in their healthy growth and development. According to Albelbeisi, Albelbeisi, El Bilbeisi, Takian and Akbari‐Sari (2020) since war many children have been died or separated from their families. There are number of traumatized children who need immediate help. This is not alone Palestinian story but Israeli children are also suffering from same circumstances. It is gtting even worse because these children are not able to leave the place or have access to secured zone. Many schools were destroyed and children were forced to live in refugee camps. Among all, Gaza is most impacted place as people are battling for survival between borders of different countries.
Health goals of the country
The main aim of Palestinians at the moment si the freedom from Israeli millitary rule. Based on the research it is found that mental disorder, nutrition and mortality rates among children are the primary concern for the country (Moreno-Cámara et.al, 2019).
Goals: Immunization, Funding of healthcare facilities, build a resilinece health care system
Are these similar or different for that of the WHO region in which the country is...
