    End Stage Renal Disease is caused by the failure of the kidneys but this affects the cardiovascular and respiratory systems as well (Goh & Griva, 2018). The signs and symptoms of the respiratory and cardiovascular effects of renal disease are fluid being filled in the lungs causing shortness of
eath, sharp chest pain, coughing, high blood pressure, hypertension, nausea, it affects the electrolyte levels of blood, causes change in the glucose level of the blood, in some cases it can lead to heart failure, heart attacks and strokes, increase bleeding and
uises and lung disease (Dai, Golembiewska, Lindholm & Stenvinkel, 2017). Lung disease can lead to coughing up of mucus, chest tightness and frequent coughing. It also leads to Pulmonary Hypertension which is high blood pressure that occurs in the connections between the lungs and the heart. It causes rapid heart rate, edema which is consistent with End stage renal disease symptoms and chest tightening as well.
