The Purpose
This exercise has a triple purpose:
· It involves using fiction as a source of knowledge.
· It also involves an engagement with themes of Indigeneity and colonialism/decolonization in Canada and in ways that deepen our understanding of multiculturalism in this country.
· Lastly, it is about fine-tuning our skills for paragraph structure.
The Task
· Choose one of the two short stories posted in the Week 6 folder.

· Follow the instructions on the second page for completing the chart.
· On the next page of your document, write two paragraphs for each of the questions below:
· What is the most valuable insight about Indigeneity in the text?
· What is the most valuable insight about colonialism and/or decolonization in the text?
· Remember to apply the ICE guidelines to your paragraphs and include a reference in APA style for the short story on the last page of your document.
· Prepare your cover sheet on the first page of the document
· Submit your work as a single document in .PDF format to the folder for this assignment
