Organisms on Planets
Callisto and Ganymede: Ganymede is the largest natural
satellite with a diameter of about 5262.4 kilometres making it
even larger than planet mercury. Callisto is the second largest
satellite in the solar system with a diameter of around 4820.6
kilometres. They are both present inside the Jupiter. Both of
them comprises of rocks and ices which makes it very
difficult for any organism to survive over there. The
organisms which are present are unable to survive there for a
longer period of time as there is very less supply of oxygen
present in these planets. There are microbes found which are
also known as archaeabacteria which are found along with the
prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The DNA of archaeabacteria is
found to be similar as eukaryotes.
Mars: Life on Mars is very difficult but it is simpler than rest
of the planets. It is very much similar to the planet Earth as
there is liquid water which is found on the planet Mars. There
have many researches done and due to existence of water,
there are microorganisms which are found on these planet.
Bacteria have been found whose life span is not very long.
Jupiter: The other name for Jupiter is icy moon...
