Movie: Don't Breathe
The movie that has been selected for the assignment is Don't Breathe starring Jane Levy, Daniel Zovatto, Dylan Minnette and Stephen Lang. It is a story of three friends getting trapped inside the house of a blind man while trying to steal from him, because he seems to be an easy target. However, the plan does not go as they had planned and they find themselves fighting for their lives after understanding how wrong they were, about their supposedly helpless victim. The genre of the film is horror (Imdb). 
What are the elements that make it a genre?
Some of the major elements of the horror genre includes - fear, suspense, surprise, mystery, physical violence, psychological terrors and so on. 
Don't breathe has a very typical horror beginning where it is evident to the audience that the group of friends should not enter the house as something bad is waiting for them Insider, but they still go in.
