Criminal behavior comprises of actions and deeds that are defiant in reference to the rules 
and regulations that guide the society as a whole. There are a number of theories that attempt to 
explain the different causes of criminal behavior by offenders. One of the theories that stand out 
is the theory of the Dissociative Identity Disorder. It is thus, essential to analyze the components 
of the theory so as to understand its effect of criminal behavior (Einstadter & Henry, 2006).
