Task 1: Plan and gather information
For each topic, write an overview summary of 500 words or less that identifies the topic and describes the process you used to gather at least three credible and relevant sources of information for your literature review. In your response you must address each of the following criteria:
a) Introduce the topic you have chosen and identify how researching the literature in this area may support and improve your work practices.
) Provide a clear statement defining the research objectives of your literature review.
c) Describe the methods you used to systematically gather information for your literature review and provide a rationale for why these were appropriate.
d) Describe at least three credible sources of data and information you accessed for your literature review.
e) Explain how you determined whether the information you gathered was relevant to your chosen topic and research objectives.
f) Describe how you organised the data and information you gathered in a way that helped you to use it in your literature review.
g) Describe how you prioritised which sources of data and information to discuss in your literature review.
Task 2: Analyse and present findings
For each topic, write a literature review of 1000 words or less that analyses three or more credible sources of information and assesses how the findings might be applied in your professional context. In your literature review you must address each of the following criteria:
a) Identify at least two cu
ent trends in this topic area and evaluate their relevance to your area of professional practice.
) Compare and contrast the different sources of literature that you have accessed and comment on their merits in terms of their:
i. strength (the robustness of the studies)
ii. relevance to your professional context
iii. (statistical) reliability
iv. cu
ency of the information.
c) Assess and discuss the feasibility of incorporating the findings of the research into your professional context, and any benefits or risk associated with this.
d) Identify areas of the research that wa
ant further investigation, either because of the limited scope of the research you have undertaken, or the limitations of the studies cited.
e) Provide the reader with a summary of your findings and conclusions based on the literature that you have reviewed.
f) Recommend two actions based on your research findings and conclusions. These may be in relation to further research, or implementing the findings of the research, or both.
g) Include a bibliography using the APA style of referencing.

Overview 1: Strength Based Practices
In healthcare sector, the objective of developing patient centered care initiates from the strengths of the patients and their families. In fact, healthcare organizations thrive to ensure that they work in the positive direction to ensure that the patients recover rapidly as they have full right to enjoy a healthy life. The development of case management models in strength-based practice is ca
ied out with this ideology only; the healthcare setting and involvement of all professionals is towards keeping the patients onboard so that they recover fast. The model of strength-based practice is structured around the active participation of the patient in the clinical care as well as it is applied during the recovery phase. The management of the needs and expectations of the patients are done with regard to their strengths and the trigger points of positivity in their behavior.
    The cu
ent literature review activity provides insights of the three studies that were conducted to evaluate the efficacy of the strength-based practices over the patients of disability and procurement of mental health. These studies are published in reputed journals, which makes them qualified enough to be included in the process of cu
ent evaluation of the topic. The major objective behind selecting these studies was to understand the process of strength-based practice and how this model is deemed relevant in the course of post-clinical care as well as in recovery phase of the patients.
The methods used for this exercise were to look for quality information over the credible database such as renowned medical journals as well as online articles published independently. The database searched was NCBI, Google Scholar, Research Gate and Science Direct. Out of which, Google Scholar produced the quality data in a concise manner. The selection of the studies was ca
ied out upon some fixed criteria. In fact, these criteria are driven from the model of the strength-based practice itself; it is the process of recognizing the needs and expectations of the patients from the healthcare system as well as identification of their strengths before making the plan of care. The process of searching literature also included the parameter of selecting only the studies that have produced qualitative or quantitative research findings.
The organization of the provided information is another factor that leads to the successful achievement of the exercise taken up here. It includes a systematic development of the analysis, given that the topic may seem similar to the selected articles/sources. For example, the basic objectives of the strength-based practice are similar or they are universally applicable. However, case management plans may differ from patient to patient. Understanding the gaps in the delivery of the models of care is another point in this context as well, which was addressed throughout the activity.
Overview 2: Social Determinants of Health
The ideal structure of healthcare services is woven around the social determinants of health for all types of populations. In fact, the efforts of healthcare organizations are about to ensure that quality delivery of healthcare services is done through addressing the social determinants of health in general as well as in the specific contexts of the various populations living in nation. The positive impacts of globalization are now seen in the form of complex social structures, which have diverse needs and expectations. WHO perceives right to good health as one of the fundamental objectives that should be accomplished at the very best of the healthcare service providers.
To understand the issues related to social determinants of health, there are multiple factors, which healthcare service providers take into their concern. For example, reducing inequality and enhancing the service delivery of healthcare models remains primary challenge in any social context. Especially in the developing regions of the world, a wide range of population living below poverty line fights for their rights to health and equality in the distribution of accessibility. This fight ranges from good housing conditions, sanitation to the development of the healthcare models, which are easily accessible. The major issues in social determinants of healthcare remain centered around these factors. The healthcare service providers thrive to ensure that the gaps in the healthcare services are reduced to minimum so that the right to good health is allocated to all.
In the context of the above, three credible studies were chosen to understand the conceptual framework of social determinants of health as well as its practical application. The articles were chosen from the TAFE university database and from Google Scholar. The objective behind the selection was clearly taken as the gap-based inputs and investigations accomplished in the selected articles only. In other words, the purpose of this exercise was not only to understand how social determinants of health are applied but also to know the gaps in delivering quality healthcare outcomes. These gaps exist between the developed and developing regions of the world. Health...
