You are required to create information about three (3) children of different age groups. You can call them Child A, Child B, and Child C.
The information about the children can be created and used as the basis for this project or, if you work or you have been on work placement in a suitable workplace, you are able to use information about children from that workplace.
Create a hypothetical profile for each child. Each profile should have the:
· Child’s age, cultural background, personal interests, and their personal information.
Once you have given a
ief paragraph on each child, discuss:
a. One (1) example of how you would provide care to each child and respond appropriately to their individual needs as well as those of their family
a. For each child identify experiences and strategies to promote physical activities and encourage participation, with:
a. At least one (1) experience that is spontaneous and one (1) that is planned,
. At least one (1) experience to be indoors and one (1) experience outdoors, and that reflect children’s interests
c. One (1) example of educator participation with children in these experiences, scaffolding risk taking
d. Example of considering children’s abilities and interests
a. For each age group, discuss one (1) activity to engage children in discussions around physical health and wellbeing
. Assist in providing one (1) adaptation of the physical environment to ensure challenge and appropriate risk-taking
c. One (1) routine for each child to ensure the smooth transition of new a
ivals
d. One (1) strategy for each child to encourage respectful communication about their feelings
e. One (1) strategy for each child, that you have not discussed above to support children through transition and change
f. Engage with children as they create their own play
The project should be written to a maximum of 800 words.
