Medical ethics requires examination of specific issues, which are based on clinical cases that utilize logic, values and facts so that a correct course of action can be decided. In many cases the ethical problems are more or less straight forward, however, there are cases like the case study of Mr. Williams it creates a perplexing situation for the doctor on deciding a specific value of the system. Cases have been observed where the doctor may succumb to unethical practices during their tenure of medical practice. Some of the situations may include withholding of treatments of the patient so that they can meet with the organizational budget.
At times, they are observed to cover their mistake or practice defensive medicine so that they are not implied with lawsuits against malpractice.
