United States of America. The P4P is used for reflecting the efficiency of medical staffs in
terms of quality work. This term is highly being used in health care sectors for paying
according the performances of staffs by measuring it with the set standards. It is technique
which is used for physicians to pay for meeting goals of target related medical services. The
P4P could encourage EMR adoption decisions which will help in gaining popularity with
such incentive method. EMR adoption will also help to get more patients by boosting up
performances of the medical physicians. This has increased the usage of computers as the
number of patients who are being attended by physicians is directly proportional to the
incentives method. The physicians will be rewarded more by seeing the ability of patients
who can meet targets in an easy manner. The EMR adoption system is highly being supposed
to increase the P4P technique being used for rewarding the employees(M. Mitka,
1995).
