1) Horizontal component of the force =
500 * cos150 = 500 x (31/2 + 1)/(2*21/2)
= 483 N
2) Force will create a tension of magnitude 500 N in the wire connecting the
crate to the Motor .
3) According to Newton’s second Law of Motion
Fnet = Mass x Acceleration
Fnet on each crate = 500 cos15 = 483 N
Mass of each crate = 200 kg
Acceleration = Fnet / Mass = 2.414 m/sec
