You have been asked to ca
y out research to find out about Australia’s tourism industry. Specifically, you need to find out how many people travel to Australia every year and where they come from. Find at least one piece of information related to this research project and decide whether it is accurate and relevant. Explain your findings. (50–75 words)
In Australia, about 8.8 million travellers came to visit in the year 2017, among which tourists from New Zealand accounts to the highest numbers, 1.4 million in 2017. You have been asked to gather information using an interview as the method for collection. Make a list of five questions that you would ask a respondent in order to determine the features they would look for when choosing a new city/ subu
to live in. In 20–40 words, explain why interviews are an effective way of collecting reliable information.
Q1. What would you prefer to see among historical places, mountains, jungles and sea beaches?
Q2. How much do you want to spend on daily basis as living cost?
Q3. What do you prefer among u
an, subu
an and rural areas for your stay?
Q4. What connectivity features do you prefer to have in areas you live in?
Q5. Do you have any specific preference for a city or area to live in?
As interviews are conducted, the interviewers easily notice the emotional and behavioural cues of the interviewees. The interviews, as mentioned by Schonell & Macklin (2018), i
espective of being virtual or face-to-face, keep the interviewees focused and notice the facial expressions while answering, which makes the data collection easy, effective.

· You have been asked to undertake research to find out what the cu
ent population of Australia is. Would you use non-electronic or online information to find this information? Why? Provide the details of a source you have located that could be used to gather this information. What is Australia’s cu
ent population? (50–75 words)
In order to collect details about the cu
ent population of Australia, online information base would be a much better choice over non-electric information sources. The online sources about the population of the country are based on government records, which are framed on the database of registered birth and death records of the healthcare sector, providing accurate data within a fraction of time, which offline data collection method would never have been able to do within a short frame, accurately. Based on the details provided on authentic online sources, Australia is having a headcount of 24,772,247 people as of 2018, which is collected from (Worldometer, 2018).

You have been asked to ca
y out research about how Australians use their credit cards. How would you store or classify the information you gather? You can choose more than one option. Why would you organise information in this way? (50–75 words)
If given a chance, I would collect the data about the usage of credit card by Australian on printed questionnaires, handed over to interviewees, who would have limited options and later, I would upload the data on a Microsoft Excel Sheet and store in on cloud storage.

If your organisation wanted you to find out what the most popular type of car for the year was, what research strategies could you use to collect that information? What do you think the most reliable method of collecting valid data would be? Why? You should identify and describe at least three strategies.
In order to find out the most popular type of car of the year, I would use
owse the internet about the automobile industry statistics from authentic government websites. In order to get the right details I will use keywords such as ‘popular car’, ‘2018’, ‘Australia’ to get right search results. As stated by Schlangenotto, Kundisch & Wunderlich (2018), using the right keywords for search is necessary. The best way to collecting data will be going through car-sales reports on government websites, as it would not provide data with commercial purposes, which often provided manipulated data to impress the customers.
In order to make my collected data helpful and significant firstly, I will collect data from government websites, then I would compare the collected data with company statements in the country. Secondly, I would open survey on social media networks and conduct the customers’ poll of the most popular cars. Thirdly, I would also conduct online interview with major car distributors of the country to collect their thoughts. The amalgamation of data from the three data collection strategies would help me in developing significant findings.

Survey a minimum of 10 people and find out whether they are satisfied with the variety of programs on free to air TV. You will need to have questions ready to ask them so that you can gather consistent information. Document and submit your questions and the responses. Take this information and analyse it. Summarise your findings.

Analysis and Summary of the Research Findings
The cu
ent data finding of shows that majority of the respondents were not satisfied with the quality of the contents, variety and quality of the free to air programs on television, accounting on an average of 60% of the total respondents. Considerable 13.34% percentage respondents are found to be neutral. Considering the data findings, it can be summarised that the free to air programs must be improved in terms of their quality, variety and contents. The high level of dissatisfaction in all the three research questions hinted at the fact that the television program production organisations has been very deviated from the choice of the customers and needs fast recovery.
In one paragraph, explain the procedures you used for the analysis.
In order to analyse the data findings, I put the gathered responses in tables as numerical data, based on which I identified the majority and the least opted responses. Based on the questions asked and the responses to the questions, I used logical framework to analyse the data and reached conclusive points.

· You have, after undertaking a research project, concluded that your organisation should create and sell a new product. What kind of evidence would you need to justify your conclusion? Provide at least five examples.
In order to convince the upper management of the organisation theoretical, practical and physical proofs has to be collected, a
anged, compared and described. As supported by Tavassoli (2018), in order to convince management for change proper sequence of collected data must be laid out. In order prove my point to the management that a new product is required, I need to show them the market response of the existing products of the company, first, with the help of sales report. Secondly, the customer response would be provided. The market response collected through the interview and survey, would support the slowing sales of existing products. Thirdly, I will demonstrate the flaws of the product in front of the management through a demo. Fourthly, I will compare the product with its rivals, who would show the company the scope of improvement and lastly, I will give expert feedbacks collected through interviews.

What are the advantages of using technology to present recommendations via telephone, internet and videoconferences? Provide at least five examples.
The use of telephone, internet and video conference for presenting recommendation provides the following benefits
Firstly, the use of telephone, internet and video conference, namely electronic media reduces the takes less time to reach people, making awareness of information spread fast than traditional offline methods.
Secondly, the electronic media uses fewer resources, generating cost efficiency. As mentioned by Leiner, Knoblike, Rueß and Brosius (2018), in case of electronic media based information presentation; the cost remains low as the maintenance-charge stay low, only requiring considerable investment at the initial stages.
Thirdly, electronic media has wider reach, as they can reach any connectivity device and forward the recommendations in an efficient manner.
Fourthly, the scope of human e
or leading to forwarding of wrong information is also reduced in case of electronic media, as the communicating sides go though very few layers of information forwarding.
Lastly, electronic media can reach specific persons for its unique and digital address-based data forwarding system, which traditional media service programs lack.

The organisation you work for sells power tools. Create two or three slides or PPT slides (this can be done on paper rather than actually on transparencies) to make recommendations as to when your organisation should place their ads on TV. Consideration of Time of the Day Selected for Airing the Advertisement
· In the afternoon so that people watching television in their launch time notice the product advertisement
· The advertisement must also be aired more frequently in the evening, so that people returning from work, notice the product advertisement
· The advertisement must be aired from 8 am onwards to 8 pm on Sundays, so that people can notice it while watching...
