what needs to be purchased, contracted or outsourced). Discuss with your Tutor for further
clarification.
2. Build a document giving all the necessary network designs (enough information should be
provided that will allow any technician to build your network structure from scratch).
3. Simple IP addressing solution (step by step workout of the calculations) that leaves room for
growth, is easy to administer and has the minimum wastage of available IP address space.
4. List all hardware and software specification of the selected devices.

The explanation is given for case study in the assignment:
Booksforyou is considered as one of the Retail Book Sale Company and having a small Li
ary which has been in business for 10 years. The concerned organization has two major
anches within Australia in Canbe
a, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne with headquarters situated in Melbourne in order to avail large customer base within the area. Each and every
anch has 10 networked printers and one fax machine along with the e-mail communication amenities for employees. The company has 2 workplaces situated inside 1000 meters from one another. Office 1 has two stories and presently 10 staff individuals are working including IT division, Li
ary and Customer Support. Office 2 has just 1 story and 5 individuals, for the most part this office is utilized for Sales and conference. Right now, there is just work area workstations are accessible anyway customer is searching for overhauling all workstations with PCs in Office 1 and supplant every single obsolete workstation with new work areas.
Project Scope:
The most important objective of this respective assignment is to comprehend and gain knowledge about networking devices and gathers crucial ideas and needs to plan and develop a network after considering a case study. This particular project assists in gaining enhanced knowledge about designing network and administrating internetworking infrastructure. In this project, the learners are supposed to formulate a network design for a business entity which is well known as Booksforyou that offers a wide range of online reading services by operating two different
anches within Australia.
The concerned organization endeavors to emphasize on its design by offering online book services in different parts of Australia with the help of its two
anch offices. Furthermore, the company is also putting major emphasis on developing a network which is exceedingly dependable and secure for web-based activities and safeguarding of web servers as well as files enabling the exchange of information among all the
anches and customers to access the web portals of the organization but safeguarding from the internal network of the organization. The most fundamental objectives are to develop a dependable network which meets all criteria as needed by the organization in order to ensure that it can perform its various operation without any discrepancies.
Network Strategy:
Being the network designer of this project, it is endeavored to develop the design uncomplicated as much as possible because this organization needs intercommunication among
anches located in two various geographical areas including the headquarter in Melbourne enabling sharing of resources, files and facilitating customers over a wide area and offering smooth access to web-based services. Every
anch has two different departments but in this particular report only headquarter located in Melbourne is considered [1]. Moreover, one more
anch is enlarged by five departments so that it can be interlinked with most appropriate topology because the needs of the department and on each switch we install VLAN in order to ensure that every workstation can operate as if they all are integrated in the same wire even though they are located in various levels of LAN. Once it is done, with the assistance of a major switch, every specific switch are linked to make it simple to configure. With the help of networking technologies, all the two
anches will be integrated by one...
