Benchmark - Final Capstone Paper

Make all necessary revisions and corrections to previous assignments completed in Topics 1- 7. Combine all elements into one cohesive evidence-based proposal.

Although recommendations will vary in length depending upon the problem or issue addressed, the paper must be between 2,500-2,750 words and formatted in APA style. The title page, appendixes, and references are not included in the word limit. The final paper should clearly describe the methods used to identify and retrieve the evidence as well as the rationale for exploring the clinical issue chosen. Clearly articulated recommendations for practice based on research evidence are essential to a successful paper.

Use section headings for each section component and address responses in narrative form. Sections of the final paper must include all of the components written to date (incorporating revisions), as well as the remaining sections. These sections include:

  1. Title Page
  2. Introduction
  3. Problem or Issue
  4. Proposed Solution
  5. Implementation Plan
  6. Timeline
  7. Evaluation Plan
  8. Dissemination Plan
  9. Conclusion/Summary
  10. Reference Page
  11. Appendices (i.e., Literature Evaluation Table)

The final capstone project paper requires that you support your position by referencing at least nine scholarly resources. At least six of your supporting references must be from peer-reviewed resources.

Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.

Introduction
In the given assignment, pregnancy care in the maternity ward in hospitals discusses the fact that women need medical services. There should not be made any discrimination against women so that they stand on an equal footing than men in all aspects. The number of staff has been the significant issue in the maternity staff, and there is no doubt that pregnant women are facing more problems (Solnes Miltenburg, van Pelt, Meguid & Sundby, 2018). In case some nurses are not providing proper care makes no support to women. In this context, it is worth saying that quality staff will increase the percentage of proper care where women will not be deprived of their rights and liberty, which is of major concern.
Problem or issue addressed.
Within the chosen healthcare organization, there are some ba
iers and the issue addressed, which creates some hindrances to the proper pregnancy care in the maternity wards. The proper care is not given, and this has been given the major ba
ier where when ANC is provided to the patients, then nurses are facing due to the lack of the monitoring and evaluation system in the maternity wards where they are not supposed to be monitoring the progress rate fetal growth.
There is also the caseload which is the other issue, and in case, it is offered with the purposes of the pregnancy care, then nurses need to be more vigilant. This has been the major issue for a long time. In case, when the patients are in the maternity ward, there are sometimes used some outdated types of equipment, that not ensures the patient free from getting the right treatment. The issue of caseloads mentions the failure when it comes to how the failure passes through the distribution of human health resources (Sperlich, Seng, Li, Taylor & Bradbury‐Jones, 2017). The care process needs more active, and the failure will be detrimental in such a stage for pregnant women. Efficient networks are absent.
Another problem raised is sometimes the shortage of nurses which leads to no care to the balance in the health system. When the shortage and imbalance occur there, and then nurses and the medical staff should see what needs and requirements are needed there. There is also one main contention, that is to say, the lack of the availability of human resources is one thing which is also a major problem.
Within the maternity ward, the relief should be given, and this requires every care to be given in this context where human resources should be provided so that none gets ba
ed from the relief. This is such an expectation that women expect. The lack of knowledge and no proper care is one such issue that needs to be sorted out (Rahimi, Haghani, Kohan & Shirani, 2019).
In the context of the work organization design, the division of the work across the team lacked continuity.  There is a shift pattern that is not followed regularly. The alignment between the nurses and the physicians lacked continuity. There is a physical and emotional healthcare problem. When the emotions are not set out by the nurses, then the guided principles of the nurses are lack. The system should ensure that they are emotionally touched by women. There are few women who do not get adequate maternity care. Within this fact, the health result for the women is figured negative in number.
There is also one problem that when high technologies are used, then it derives the situation like it may create health hazards to the women. In such a case, the women are exposed to many harmful exposures (Solberg & Glavin, 2018). There are some harmful procedures which are further used as care to it. Such procedures in which users should be stopped and the women do not get the technology support care, and in such a way, they are deprived of proper care.
The women failed to get emotional support, and intensive care is not given to them. The training and the medical system is the most significant ba
ier to provide the women with free maternity services which are reliable and trustworthy in this respect. It shows that when nurses are not given proper training, then it lacks proper care to them.
Proposed solution/ recommendation
When women face maternity problems in the ward, many recommendations can be given there. In this context, firstly, there should be given a monitoring system, and when the monitoring system runs according to the procedure, then it is beneficial to the mother and the fetus. Such a monitoring system ensures that mothers with their child in the womb get proper care and treatment, which is for the good of the mother.
In case of emergency care is to be provided to the women, then the caseload should be improved so that the women are given proper care. In this respect, the women should be given the right treatment, and with this fact, the caseload should be reduced. There should not be any lack of nurses in the maternity ward (Mitra, Smith, Smeltzer, Long-Bellil, Moring & Iezzoni, 2017). There should be provided with the distribution of adequate human resources, and such resources should be worth noting down. Such a recommendation will ensure that all the distribution of human resources takes place at the right step. There are diverse human resources that ascertain that in this way, the human resources are to be used so that nurses can get the right and easy access to the patients (Ly, Kouanda & Ridde, 2014).
There should not be any shortage and imbalance of the health system. The balanced care in the health system should be given in the right way, and it means that when the health system is made technologically sound, then such a practice should reach every individual woman. There should not be seen any disparity...
