The nursing staff in a healthcare organization is endowed with the duty to constantly check the movements of the psychiatric patients and keep them under supervision. In the case study mentioning the deteriorating mental condition of Judy accompanied by her suicidal tendency, the nurse has been negligent in three aspects. Firstly, the nurse, despite knowing the mental health condition of Judy without sufficient supervision unlocked the door. Rabelo-Silva et al.
