Also, the opinion presented in peer review takes more time than expected; it takes more than a year for almost every reputed journal, even in the era of the Internet, to review and publish a paper. Good data on the cost of peer review is difficult to get, particularly because reviewers are not expected to go through paid procedure in order to make peer review study valuable always. Thus, in information submitted today on a journal will be reviewed and updated in a considerable period of time for public viewing; till then, the nature of the data which is subjected to be changed becomes outdated (Smith, 2006).
