You must pick one of the following two types of governance: Clinical Governance or Corporate Governance. You will then need to apply the principles relevant to the governance’s choice you selected to develop your critique, comparing and contrasting each aspect against the selected board paper. The recommendations from improvement should arise from this critique and/or could be linked to ongoing developments happening within the organisation you have chosen. It might be advisable to choose an organisation that you work for or the organisation where you have undertaken your shadowing experience. Suggested Structure (5000 Word limit): Introduction, to include (indicative 500 Words):  Introduce your topic by identifying which type of governance you have chosen, the organisation, and the board paper you have selected for you critique.  Explain why you have chosen the above, covering all aspects of your choice.  Outline what you are going to describe in your assignment. Section One: Governance, to include (indicative 500 Words):  Provide a thorough definition of the type of governance you have chosen  Identify the principles/pillars of the governance of your choice and provide an overview of what they are and their importance for health and social care organisations. Section Two: Organisation, to include (indicative 500 words):  Describe the organisation to which your critique applies  Introduce the board paper you have chosen and outline the aspects of the paper you will be discussing that relate to the governance of choice.  Explain the main challenges faced by the organisation you have chosen and the broader health or social care sector in relation to the aspects of governance you have identified and previously introduced. The glory of the up gradation and globalization of modern society includes the continual development of health and social care also. The adoption of numerous policies and governance made the overall sector more diverse and versatile. Corporate and clinical governance is the most known governance that can be found in any of the sectors of development (Desai and Chandawarkar, 2018). Here the clinical governance is the major part of the concern for this study. Generally, clinical governance is associated with the betterment of the quality of the service along with the amelioration of the condition of patients in any health care system. In this part of the work, a hospital has been chosen as an organization around which all the discussion, critiques, and outcomes are being evolved. The hospitals are being considered as a core center of any health care management and in discussing the phenomena of the quality of service and needs of any patients, the hospital consists of a huge set of evidence that is needed to be concerned. All the approaches of clinical governance are systematic and measured. To establish the link and to justify all the facts of the concerned topic of clinical governance a specific board paper has been chosen as a special part of this discussion.  In this assignment the organization has been chosen, a community hospital. A board paper has also been selected as a part of this discussion to link all the issues and topics with that particular paper. “Implementation of Clinical Governance in Hospitals: Challenges and keys for Success’’, this particular paper has been chosen as a sample board paper for this specific assignment (Mousavi, et al., 2014).
The topic for this assignment and the board paper for this assignment have been chosen after a huge set of considerations. The challenges that can be faced by a hospital after implementation of the clinical governance and the success of that process are also being discussed in that particular board paper. To build up a link and to make the whole discussion more clear the board paper has been chosen properly. To improve the quality of the care the implication of clinical governance has been adopted by the health care centers. In order to provide a better quality of the service all the effective steps have been adopted by the concerned authority. Governance results in the organizational activity transparent and accountable. In a healthcare organization, it is needed to be more practical and organized. Hence the implication of the clinical governance in any health care organization is to be considered. And throughout this study all the sides of this governance and its possible outcomes have been discussed widely.
Principles and pillars of the governance and importance for the health and social care organization
The term clinical governance is generally associated with the continual improvement of the quality of the service of the healthcare system (Mohaghegh, et al., 2016). Improvement of public health status has become one of the most important fundamental needs for modern society. In the case of the implementation of this clinical governance, it is equally important to know the pillars of clinical governance. There are 7 pillars of clinical governance (Limb, et al., 2017). All the pillars are being discussed below briefly. 
1. Clinical effectiveness and research: This pillar of clinical governance works as a medium of collecting the best available data and research to provide the best care to the patients. This method always applies the collected data based practice in the field of health care and treatment. The standard guidelines and information are being used here in clinical care under the audience of clinical governance. In order to get new information in case of new research all the data and guidelines are being imposed to improve the process of treatment and clinical care. 
2. Risk management: This risk management process has engaged with the guidelines and methods of analysis and understanding of those guidelines. The management process also works to reduce the degree of risk among the patients and the staff. This involves in the sense and warns in case of reducing the rate of the accident. The risk management team also associates with the analysis of previous accidents and mistakes. Evaluating those mistakes the management team makes the necessary decisions for the organization. 5. Information technology: the implementation of information technology provides an extra degree of advancement. It helps in keeping the data secure. The management of the data with proper security increases the trust issue of the patients. The encrypted data helps in storing the device and is easy to retrieve (Hartzband, 2019). 
6. Patient and public involvement: in keeping the service continuing and flexible the proper involvement of the patient is needed. Proper feedback and the review of the patients is an important part in the case of the development of any organization. 7. Staff management: the staff management system helps in making sure that all the staff is well trained. The staff management system maintains the issues, activity, practice of the staff.
