Introduction
The report is a case study about the perioperative nursing care of Candace Evans, a 42 years old woman who is admitted in the operation theatre at the age of 38 week gestation. This age of fetus is considered fully developed and the baby can appear any time. She has undergone with lower uterine caesarean section under the spinal anaesthesia. She is diagnosed with Placenta Previa.

ent health condition of the patient, assesses the nursing care provided to her and evaluates the outcomes of her nursing care.
Discussion
Placenta normally develops inside the uterus of mother during the pregnancy, provides nourishment, nutrition and oxygen supply to the baby (Vera, 2012). Generally the placenta develops at the upper part or the side part of the uterus. Placenta Previa is a condition in which the placenta of baby covers the complete cervix area and the outer outlet of the mother’s uterus. The problem results into enormous bleeding during the delivery of baby.
The red bleeding occurs from the body of the pregnant lady during the delivery and pregnancy without any pain. Candace Evan is going through her second pregnancy and she is in her 38 week gestation period. Five years ago she has had gestational diabetes during her first pregnancy. The diabetes did not appear again after the first delivery. However, she suffered from anxiety and depression.

ently she has undergone her lower uterine caesarean section under the spinal anaesthesia. Through the surgery, she gave birth to a male child and after that she entered the post anesthetic recovery room. The APGAR score of baby is 8-10 which shows the total score of Appearance, pulse, grimace, activity and respiration of baby after birth. The score reflects the baby is fine in health and looks. The estimated intra-operative loss of blood was around 150 ml. The dermatome level T3 reflects the nerves providing the blood supply to the area of body at intersection of third intercostals space and the mid-clavicular line. ed in the spinal nerves during the blood loss and the disease. The T3 refers to the dorsal back portion. The lower uterine dressing was dry and intact. It shows the patient has no bleeding coming from the anus. The urine was red colored. It shows the urine was having the blood content in it which was giving it the red color. The vital signs show low blood pressure. The vaginal pad of the patient was found to be red colored and having some blood clots as well.
