Part 1: Create a conflict check system using Microsoft Excel. Marked out
of 20.
1. Use the client list below.
2. Create 2 sheets in your book. On the second sheet enter the information from the client list into
the following categories if possible (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Applicant/Respondent,
and the Name of the Court or Tribunal). Use headers, and sort the list by Applicant/Respondent
first and then by Last name.
3. Make the list look attractive using boarders and colours. Remove the gridlines. And freeze the
headers at the top of the page.
4. On sheet 1 create a form where the user can type in the name and/or phone number of a
potential client. Have a visual response that says either Safe or Unsafe. Safe if there is no conflict
and unsafe if there is a conflict.
5. Make the entry form on sheet 1 look attractive and user friendly. Including short instructions on
how to use the conflict check system you have designed.
6. Rename the sheets as “Check Form” and “Client List”.
