	With the rapid growth experienced by the Long-term care (LTC) industry, the business environment for this specific sector is getting fiercely competitive. In the context of the United States, the long-term care businesses are exploiting the growing rates of the elderly population to expand their businesses. Three Major Competitors in the United States LTC Environment
With the growing rate of the elderly population in the US, Medicare and healthcare businesses have experienced a surge in business. As stated before, the LTC environment within the US is fiercely competitive. The three major competitors in the industry are Onyx Healthcare USA, INC., Kindred Healthcare Inc. and Mariner Health Care.
Onyx Healthcare USA Inc. is a healthcare organization that provides medical grade telemedicine solutions, as well as, patient engagement Information Technology solutions (ACN Newswire, 2015). Kindred are one of the largest hospice and home-health operator within the United States.
