The problems

After you have visited the Kent IT Department, you have found that they are currently using Windows Server 2003 as their main server with Active Directory to manage user, courses, subjects and all other data using an MS Access Database. You found this is absurd and they definitely need a faster and reliable server with an Online Learning management System is very much, needed for Kent Institute Australia to run their Education System smoothly. You also had a research on Moodle the well-established LMS requirements. The following are the system requirements to install Moodle, the complete Learning management System.

Moodle System Requirements

Moodle is, primarily developed in Linux usingApache,PostgreSQL/MySQL/Maria DBandPHP(sometimes known as the LAMP platform). You need to run 3-tier web application environment to run Moodle in Windows Server 2016 platform.

The basic requirements for Moodle are as follows

Hardware

üDisk space: 200MB for the Moodle code, plus as much as you need to store content. 5GB is probably a realistic minimum.

üProcessor: 1GHz (min), 2GHz dual core or more recommended.

üMemory: 512MB (min), 1GB or more is, recommended. 8GB plus is likely on a large production server.

Consider separate servers for the web "front ends" and the database. It is much easier to "tune". All the above requirements will vary depending on specific hardware and software combinations as well as the type of use and load; busy sites may well require additional resources. Further guidance can be, found underperformance recommendations. Moodle scales easily by increasing hardware.

For very large sites, you are much better starting with a small pilot and gaining some experience and insight. A "what hardware do I need for 50,000 user?" style post in the forums is highly unlikely to get a useful answer.

Server requirements

These are just the minimum supported versions. We recommend keeping all of your software and operating systems up-to-date.

üMoodle upgrade: Moodle 3.1 or later

üPHP version: minimum PHP 7.0.0Note: minimum PHP version has increased since Moodle 3.3. PHP 7.1.x and 7.2.x are, supported too. PHP 7.x could have someengine limitations.

üPHP extensionintlis required since Moodle 3.4 (it was recommended in 2.0 onwards)

Database requirements

Moodle supports the following database servers. Again, version numbers are just the minimum supported version. We recommend running the latest stable version of any software.

Desktop

üChrome

üFirefox

üSafari

üEdge

üInternet Explorer

Mobile

Mobile Safari

Google Chrome

For the best experience and optimum security, we recommend that you keep your browser up to date. https://whatbrowser.org

Note: Legacy browsers with known compatibility issues with Moodle 3.5:

üInternet Explorer 10 and below

üSafari 7 and below

You also had opportunities to look for other LMS system requirement as well:

The Change Management process establishes an orderly and effective procedure for tracking the submission, coordination, review, evaluation, categorization, and approval for release of all changes to the project’s baselines.

A submitter completes a CR Form and sends the completed form to the Change Manage
    Log CR Status
The Change Manager enters the CR into the CR Log. The CR’s status is updated throughout the CR process as needed.
    Evaluate CR
Project personnel review the CR and provide an estimated level of effort to process, and develop a proposed solution for the suggested change

The university case study scenario shows ,the university smooth working effected due to cu
ent system .The our proposal is for this cu
ent system .The university adopt the cloud environment .There are number of cloud provider . Our proposal is for the university is AMAZON cloud.
2.1 Why Amazon Web Services
There are number of cloud service provider and we did research on it as per our university requirement we analyze that as our university is growing so our IT requirements can be change so that this is best cloud service provider. The AWS cloud is a name in terms of its reliability and security by other providers of services. University team member considered on-premises virtualization solutions as well as other cloud providers, but ultimately chose Amazon Web Services (AWS) because it was the only solution with the global infrastructure in place to support .An architectural perspective, infrastructure, automation, and proximity to the customer were main issue. The AWS helps to decreased average network latency from 700 milliseconds to less than 50 milliseconds. The University use multi-region, multi-availability zone architecture with a proprietary DNS service to add resiliency to the applications. The AWS provide functionality to University can easily add a new cluster to manage GDE and other high volume applications without wo
ying about the infrastructure. AWS another key function can push CPU consumption close to 70 percent because we can always scale out. Fundamentally, running in AWS enables a 230 percent CPU consumption efficiency in data processing. The team consolidated all AWS accounts under one AWS account and provisioned one Amazon VPC network in each Region. This allows each Region to have an isolated infrastructure with a separate firewall, application layer, and database layer.
The design and build the backend infrastructure for University working with AWS team along with an AWS Partner Network (APN). The Backup run on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances. This includes the web servers and databases. Storage for the University Backup app is provided via Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). The University uses Amazon Cloud Watch to monitor the performance and to raise an alarm if performance falls below set thresholds. The stability of the AWS infrastructure enables us to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.
AWS approach also provides business benefits in terms of disaster recovery and compliance. With data centers enables customers to maintain all their data within shores, helping IT leaders to address compliance and data-sovereignty concerns.
