1.1 Problem Statement

ent method of cooking in various semi-rural villages of republic of Yemen produces harmful indoor and the outdoor air pollutions leads to many illness and health issue locally.
Goal: To improving health and reduce in the air pollution.
Metric for success: Less use of biomass fuels.
1.2 Solution Description
Biomass Stove burns variety of biomass which we use at home includes wood. The combustion chamber focused on the flame and the flame and force various gas for mix with the flame, which decrease the harmful emissions. The solar chamber have the insulated unit or chamber which fits on the top of the stove and solar reflector helps sits on top of this for getting direct light of sun inside.
1.3 Market Description
The target market for the same is women’s from the poor households in semi-rural villages. The population size in the villages, from 300-600 households in villages. There are more than 40 villages in the region of republic of Yemen in which company able to market this product. Based on assumption and largest market estimation, our expected market demand 15,000 stoves in the region.
But the men are the primary person for taking decision in family but women’s in these families do the cooking and they can influence the purchase decision.
1.4 Business Model
Company will sell efficient solar cooking stoves to lower income group in village. These stoves will manufacture by the local workers of village and will sell to lower income villagers. Company also offers educational programs for the value of other fuel cooking method. Local Microfinance Company offer lower interest loan to villagers for buying Solar stove. The solar cooker increased the efficiency of biomass which will reduce the indoor air pollution, also allow the villagers for recover investments costs of solar after the period of nine months (approx).
1.5 Startup Investment Requested
The company in starting phases needs lot of capital the capital requirement is for long term because company will take time for achieving their
eakeven point, so the company is required $8,000 as capital for starting business. Company able to sustain in market for 6 period of 6 months.
