In the growing world of digital means, the ease of life has resulted into various problems associated with the lifestyle and diet trends of human beings. Diabetes is one of the most common diseases that require self-management to have prolonged control over the issue. In fact, as per the distribution of the population in the developed cities of United States, Bronx stands as the poorest of the urban population in terms of holding up to some social determinants that indirectly affect the onset of diabetes especially in young population.
However, specific modification in behavior is anticipated in order to collaborate and serve the objectives set through the highest degree of care provided to the diabetes patients. As per the stats, the South Bronx has the higher rates of spread of diabetes in young population, which is 16% than other regions like New York (8%) and overall national ratio of the spread of diabetes, which is 6% (Bronx Health Reach, 2020).
It is required that urban population (especially youth) needs to understand the significance of healthy lifestyle.
