Introduction
With the dramatic increase in the chronic disease burden, there had been the consistent acceleration of the primary health concern in the health services. There had been a shift in the primary care of the people in order to maintain global health sustainability. There are few challenges that are encountered by the health care in terms of multimo
idity, polypharmacy and fragmentation in the care processes. The frequent transition in the care process has resulted in the growth of a need for integration of the care facilities (Snowden, Ellwood, McShe
y, Halsall & Hough, 2017).
There are several high-income countries who are cu
ently redesigning their healthcare so that they can focus on practices in improving their quality of care. Clinical governance constitutes a systematic administration with the coordination of various processes that directly lays impacts on the delivery of the healthcare (Van Zwanenberg & Ha
ison, 2018). The clinical governance encompasses various methods, infrastructure and tools that help in assuring proper healthcare delivery (Macfarlane, 2019).
The clinical governance in primary care focuses on managing the chronic diseases, which have specific features that rely on a wide range of network of health professionals working in collaboration to help the patients. However, there are several discrepancies, which have made the quality of care inconsistent (Veenstra et al., 2017). To understand the extent of these discrepancies, the study was ca
ied out to review the aims and objectives of the clinical governance.
Interview Questions
There were six questions that were developed for the interview with the participants related to the subject of the research. The six questions that were designed for the questionnaire were open-ended one so that the participants get enough opportunity to explain their responses, which is important for the cu
ent study.
i. Do you feel that the patients coming to healthcare have to face differences in terms of prices and the quality of healthcare services?
ii. What do you feel about the inequalities that are faced by the patients in the healthcare centres?
iii. Whom do you feel the quality of the healthcare system should be accountable for?
iv. In your opinion, what can be the possible approaches by which the healthcare status can be improved?
v. Why do you think the implementation of clinical governance is essential for today's healthcare system?
vi. Have you or your family has experienced benefits due to the implementation of clinical governance?
