At the same time researchers suggest that nurses, doctors, allied health and general managers manage differently and bring differing perspectives, sometimes contested, to the health management role. At the same time, we are increasingly asked to work in multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of health care. The reality is that the successful performance of a group, service or organisation is the result of many factors interacting in complex ways. Discuss the relevance of these statements and the approaches to management from the perspective of the theory you have read and from examples that you can describe from your work experience.
